The Quietest Advantage in Buffalo County

Shelton sits in that sweet spot: close enough to Grand Island that weekly lessons are trivial, far enough from everything else that most locals assume real coaching requires a road trip. It doesn't. Twenty-five minutes puts a Shelton golfer in front of TrackMan radar with the 2015 Nebraska State Champion reading the numbers.

That's a shorter run than plenty of people's daily commute — which means the thing that actually builds a golf swing, consistent professional eyes on it, is fully available to you.

How Shelton Students Use Us

1The weekly slot.

A standing lesson time — after work or Saturday morning — turns 25 minutes of highway into steady, compounding improvement.

2The seasonal block.

A four-lesson winter package keeps the swing alive between October and April while every course in the county hibernates.

3The one-trip tune-up.

TrackMan swing analysis plus a practice plan in a single visit, before league season or a big scramble.

Whichever rhythm fits, the first session carries the same guarantee — see below.

Everything In One Building

Lessons, club fitting from a Callaway national tour fitter, junior programs, simulator practice — all indoors, all measured, all 25 minutes from your driveway. Families are the classic Shelton booking: a parent lesson and a junior lesson back-to-back beats two separate trips anywhere else in the state.

And because everything runs on TrackMan data, progress shows up in numbers you can watch move — not in vague feelings that fade by the drive home.

If your first lesson doesn't produce measurable TrackMan improvement, it's free. That's the house rule, Shelton included.

Shelton Golfers — FAQ

How long is the drive from Shelton?

About 25 minutes — take I-80 east to the US-281 exit or run Highway 30 straight into Grand Island. Either way it is an easy, all-weather drive.

Do you take complete beginners?

Absolutely. A large share of our students had never taken a lesson before walking in. Clubs are available to borrow, and the first session is diagnostic, not judgmental.

Can my kids take lessons too?

Yes — junior coaching is a core program, and back-to-back family bookings are the most efficient format for out-of-town households. Open daily 8am–8pm.

What does it cost?

Private lessons run $50–$75 per hour, TrackMan swing analysis is $60, and club fitting is $75 per hour. No memberships or long contracts required.

Is winter coaching really worth it?

It is the highest-leverage golf money you can spend. Indoor TrackMan sessions from November to March routinely produce the biggest jumps we see, because you arrive at spring already improved.
