Why Teens and TrackMan Are a Perfect Match

Teenagers smell condescension instantly and tune out generic 'nice swing, buddy' instruction just as fast. What they respond to is what athletes respond to: real numbers, honest feedback, and visible progress. TrackMan delivers all three — ball speed to chase, dispersion to tighten, and a data history that proves the work is working.

Add the developmental facts — teen bodies gain speed fast, teen brains groove patterns fast, and no age group converts coaching into skill more efficiently — and the case is simple: a measured teen season is worth three unmeasured adult ones.

The Teen Program

1Fundamentals with numbers.

Grip, setup, and swing built correctly the first time — every rep measured, so "why" always has an answer.

2Speed development.

Teens are in the golden window for gaining clubhead speed safely. We train it deliberately, with radar tracking the gains.

3Competition readiness.

For team hopefuls and tournament players: course strategy, pressure practice, and TrackMan Combine benchmarks colleges understand.

Casual teen golfers are welcome too — not every 15-year-old wants a varsity letter, and coaching a lifelong game matters just as much.

For the Parents Reading This

What you are buying is not just a golf swing. A measured sport teaches teenagers the loop most of school never does: honest baseline, deliberate work, verified progress. Golf also happens to be the sport they can play with you now and with clients at 40 — the longest-lasting athletic investment on the menu.

Sessions run $50–$75/hour with the 2015 Nebraska State Champion, indoors year-round in Grand Island, with after-school and weekend slots that survive homework season. Parents are welcome to watch or to leave — we have found teens usually coach better without an audience, and we will tell you which yours is.

The family guarantee applies: measurable TrackMan improvement in the first session or it's free.

Teen Lessons — FAQ

What age counts as a teen for lessons?

Thirteen to eighteen — younger kids fit our junior programs, and the coaching style shifts at the teen line: more data, more autonomy, more athlete-to-coach conversation.

My teen wants to make the high school team. Realistic?

Very often, yes — most high school rosters have room for any teen who commits to a measured off-season. We build tryout-specific plans with benchmarks so progress toward the roster is visible month by month.

My teen has never played. Too late to start?

Not remotely — teens go from zero to genuinely competent faster than any adult can, and a beginner teen with one measured year often passes kids who have played casually for five.

How do lessons fit around school?

Open daily 8am–8pm year-round: after-school weekday slots, weekends, and indoor winter sessions that turn the off-season into the improvement season.

Do you do anything for college golf hopefuls?

TrackMan Combine testing gives a standardized score college coaches recognize, and the data history documents development — both go in the recruiting conversation.
